On January 24, 1989, after a night of crying and praying, Ted Bundy was led into the execution room. Prior to that, Ted denied a special meal, so he was given (but did not eat) steak,

eggs, hash browns, toast, milk, coffee, juice, butter, and jelly. As he was being strapped to the chair, Ted’s eyes searched for familiar faces behind the glass. When asked if he had any last words Ted replied, ‘’Jim and Fred, I’d like you to give my love to my family and friends.’’ Jim was his lawyer, while Fred was the Methodist minister who had spent the night with Ted in prayer. With that, it was time. After pulling a thick black strap across his mouth, an anonymous executioner pushed the button and two thousand volts rushed through the wires. Ted’s body tensed up and his fists clenched. A minute later, the machine was turned off, and his body went slack in the chair. At 7:16 AM, the most notorious serial killer of the 20th century–Ted Bundy–was pronounced dead.

“Living an honest life online isn’t about oversharing or deleting every filter; it’s about noticing when a post props up ego at the expense of presence. … Letting go of what doesn’t serve us — fear of judgment, dopamine loops, algorithmic pressure — creates room for what does: genuine connection and inner ease.”
